Summer Programs

Ages 3 - Grade 3 (exceptions can be made for grade 4 and 5 students if class size permits)

TGLC offers a "Summer Program" that includes full/part time for children three through eight years of age. The Curriculum includes numerous activities in the individual classrooms with a more relaxed summer schedule. All of our children participate in various group activities such as:

Field Trips: We visit such places as spare Time Bowling, Manchester Parkade, Lutz Children’s Museum, Trolley Museum

Guests: We have had visitors from Wild Encounters, Canvas Painting, CT Inflatables, Kona Ice, Bouncetown, Magic of Nancy, etc. 

Weekly "Friday Gathering": On Fridays we have pizza lunch and the classrooms get together and share something they have worked on that week. 

Outdoor Activities: We take advantage of the outside as much as possible by cooling off under the sprinkler, picnicking, playing in our meadow, on our playground and on the blacktop to enjoy as much outdoor time as possible.
