About Us

In 1982, The United Congregational Church of Tolland founded the Tolland Green Daycare Center, to serve the educational and childcare needs of children and their families in the Tolland area. The Center opened with 24 children. Today, Tolland Green Daycare Center is known as Tolland Green Learning Center. TGLC helps 63 families, within Tolland and surrounding towns with Early Childhood Education and Before and After School Programs for their children.

Tolland Green Learning Center is a State Licensed, non-profit program. The Center offers 4 programs designed to meet the educational needs of the area children ranging from ages 3 to 10. Tolland Green Learning Center is located on the Historic Tolland Green owned by the United Congregational Church of Tolland. The Center is non-sectarian and does not teach religious doctrine. Being owned by the UCCT has given Tolland Green Learning Center the ability to keep our rates the lowest in town to help support families with quality care at an affordable cost.
